In Pakistan, the beating continues

The situation in Pakistan gets worse by the day. Egypt, Morocco , Saudi Arabia are not far behind. Here; a typical abuser is seen looking for his next victim.

There is only one answer, the United Nations should Immediately establish a commission to investigate this shocking development and a long term program to address the root causes must be implemented ASAP.

A crisis like this calls for an experienced hand. I can think of no better candidate than Paul Rubenfeld.

I'm sure, that with a thorough examination of the issue, this entire episode will come to a head. The solution should comprehensive, allowing for the cultural differences found in a developing country such as Pakistan.

With a concentrated effort, a solution can be found that is both satisfying and long lasting. The temptation to end the effort prematurely will be great, but with a concerted effort, the situation can be brought to a satisfying climax.

I eagerly await the results of this important and much needed investigation.

Cheers,
