Why the Left is Losing #54589761299G

I realize that San Francisco is indeed a physical part of the United States, I am however occasionally reminded that it is in fact, a appendage of Daly City.

The hubris shown by this pompous, delusional fool is a perfect illustration of why the Left is on its deathbed. This type of delusional thinking required to hold a world view like this AND be an Elected Member of the San Francisco Board of Supervisors means only good things for those on the Right.

The Left should run away from these losers like the plague, but would anyone like to take a guess on his chances of making it to higher office?

I will give you 5, 2 and even.

Cheers,

THE PRODUCERS of the Fox News show "Hannity & Colmes" were probably hoping for a central-casting Left Coast liberal foil when they invited San Francisco Supervisor Gerardo Sandoval to talk about the controversy over where to place the retired battleship Iowa.

He did not disappoint.

Sandoval gave all the familiar arguments about why San Francisco should not welcome a warship as a museum and tourist attraction.

Then came the rhetorical trap.

Conservative co-host Sean Hannity mockingly asked Sandoval whether "America should unilaterally disarm" and discard "our tools of war."

"You know that's a very complicated question," Sandoval replied Tuesday night. "But I would say, yes, we should. We should invest our money in our kids."

At that point Alan Colmes, the liberal co-host, incredulous at what he thought he just heard, jumped in.

Colmes: This is Alan in New York. Should we not have military?

Sandoval: I don't think we should have a military. Absolutely.

Colmes: We shouldn't have a military? Wait a minute. Hold on. The United States should not have a military?

Sandoval: What good has it done for us in the last five years? That's right. What good has it done us...

Hannity: Good grief.

Sandoval: ... in the last five years.

Colmes: Gerardo, wait a second.

Sandoval: We think about the billions that we're spending in Iraq right now, if we spend it on schools. We should not...

Colmes: The United States should not have a military?

Sandoval: That's correct.

Colmes: Are you kidding me?

Sandoval: The United States should not have a military. All in all, we would be in much, much, much better shape.

Colmes: You've got to be kidding me.
